Before entering the room, we analyse the space to understand its character and identify the key elements that should be emphasised. This preparation helps every frame tell part of the story of the interior.
Working with natural light or carefully controlled artificial sources, I use lighting to emphasise textures, colours and architectural details so that every element is captured with clarity and depth.
I choose angles and perspectives that emphasise spatial dynamics and create a balanced visual flow. The composition is designed to draw the viewer naturally into the room.
Beyond the shoot itself, I help prepare the project for media presentation, shaping materials that can attract editors and support publication in architecture and design magazines, both print and online.
Hi, I'm Jirka and I'm a photographer. So much for the formalities. I started shooting in 2014 and my first client was the Best Bar That Doesn't Exist, and it was a perfect ride of crazy concepts, late night events until 4am, topped off with the best bar magazine ever.
I'm currently studying at Tomas Bata University to become a fierce artist. And I also started photographing architecture and interiors. I went through everything, photos of people, things, events, food, but the best is still architecture. Over the years, my photographs have been published in ERA 21, Architect+, My House, the online magazine Archizoom and more.
